Saying goodbye

I was lucky enough to have one last day with Emma in Maine on Friday.  We frolicked about Portland wearing our matching SLU shirts, pretending we weren't about to say goodbye for the semester.  After a delicious lunch with our FYP friend Keely and a few final shopping stops, we walked to the Portland waterfront to take this picture.
I had to say goodbye Emily yesterday after a quick trip back to SLU to retrieve my paintings and see St. Lawrence one more time.  We both felt so happy to be back on campus to see the familiar faces and sad to have to leave so quickly.  At the same time, Emily and I both agreed the St. Lawrence spirit would follow us around the world and would definitely be there when we returned.
Emily and I at Cactus in Potsdam, NY -- They have new rooftop seating overlooking the beautiful river!
I have one bag to pack and I'll be ready to go!
