This year, the three of us were lucky enough to spend the summer 'together' on the East Coast; Emma interned in Boston and Mia just outside, while I spent the summer as a camp counselor on Cape Cod. We had a couple of amazing weekends together in Beantown and up in Maine with the lovely Thomas family.I noticed though, waking up on my last day in Orleans, that the leaves were beginning to change. In case Emma's semester-sized backpack isn't proof enough, it is time for us all to go our separate ways! I cannot wait to share more of my experiences, as I am currently a step or two behind Emma - still figuring out my luggage situation. Right now I am simply unpacking from camp in order to repack for France - a task more difficult than I had expected, and closing the chapter on a fantastic summer - remembering to keep those camp vibes in mind during the challenges of the first few weeks in a foreign country.
Cheers to CC 304's semester abroad and bonne chance!!
